New York
, December 31 -- A rather bizarre study reveals that women may derive a more pleasurable feeling by slipping into a pair of old jeans than indulging in a sexual intercourse.
A poll of 2200 British women carried out by serial brand Special K revealed that slimming down and fitting into an old pair of jeans again may be a woman’s ultimate fantasy.
Women find fitting into old pair of jeans better than sex
Findings of the survey
revealed that more than a quarter (35 percent) of women confessed to owning a pair of ‘trophy’ jeans they used to wear, kept in a hope to fit in again.
On an average, the participants owned at least five pairs of jeans. Nearly 10 percent of the women even claimed that their jeans outlived their longest relationship regardless of whether it fits them or not.
When asked on how they would feel to fit into old jeans, 29.1 percent of women averred that it would feel better than sex, 28.9 per cent said it would beat a promotion, 20.6 percent thought it would top a best friend's wedding.
Furthermore, 20.3 percent said it would feel better than a lottery win, and 11.1 percent thought it would beat a marriage proposal.
Woman’s fantasies
The poll also revealed that nearly 30 percent of women fantasized more about slimming back into their ''trophy'' jeans than daydreaming about the Hollywood heartthrobs such as George Clooney or Brad Pitt.
Laura Bryant, from Special K, said, ''Women hold a deep attachment to that one pair of jeans which they know they look and feel great in. They use them as a benchmark and a great motivational tool when slimming and it doesn't matter how old the pair is.
"This research shows the sense of euphoria and the endorphin rush women get when they achieve their goal of fitting back into that one special pair of jeans is even better or on a par with some of the other great pleasures in life."

Without saying a word, Combs drifted over to the vodka ad, stared at it for a few seconds like it was a piece of art and then quietly explained to an associate what sort of changes he wanted to see.
Combs was in business mode - or maybe it just seemed that way because of his serious demeanour.
The hip-hop entrepreneur, who apparently was feeling under the weather, has been in business mode a lot lately. Besides vodka, he is promoting male and female fragrances, I Am King and Unforgivable, and his new band, Dirty Money, which features Diddy, ex-Danity Kane singer Dawn Richard and Kalenna Harper.
Then there's his coming album, Last Train to Paris, which was supposed to come out in September but has been pushed back to 2010.
"I don't know the exact month," Diddy said about the release date. "We're going to have it come out when it's ready. We're bringing everything together, editing it down. We did 60 songs. Also, we're figuring out what's missing."
Combs wore a brown ribbed sweater, jeans and a New York Yankees baseball cap during the interview.
It seemed almost dressed down by "Diddy" standards, but then again, he can't always rock the suit-shades-and-a-toothpick look he's become known for.
Combs admitted his suits haven't always been so sharp. He feels the suits he wore in the early '90s were his biggest fashion mistake to date.
"One time there was this style to have an oversize suit," Combs said.
"It was so disrespectful. Imagine a fine-tailored, double-breasted Ralph Lauren suit, but you buy it four times bigger. After that, I learned about suits and became a suit specialist."
When asked which current fashion trend he would most like to see go away, Combs responded, "Those really skinny, tight spandex jeans for guys. I don't like that. It's too tight for a guy, man."
On November 19, Combs celebrated his 40th birthday with a lavish party at the Plaza Hotel in New York. It was reported that the party cost him around $US3 million ($A3.38 million), but the New York native said the party wasn't that expensive and that it was mostly paid by sponsors.
"There's not going to be a lot of parties like that no more," Combs said about his party reputation. "It gets to the point where it's time to move on to something else."
So no huge blowout when he turns 50?
"I don't know." Diddy responded. "That's long time from now. I've got to make sure I get out of bed tomorrow."

Kevin Jonas has made his bout of the lovebug a permanent infection.
The 22-year-old eldest member of the Jonas Brothers married longtime love Danielle Deleasa Saturday at snow-covered Oheka Castle in New York's Long Island, E! News confirms.
The former hairdresser from New Jersey donned a Vera Wang gown and clutched an impressive bouquet by Pedestal Florists as she walked down the aisle at the French château-themed space. The remaining members of the singing trio, Joe and Nick, served as the best men.
But that wasn't the only romance in the air...
Demi Lovato, the JoBros' Camp Rock costar and rumored love interest for Joe, also witnessed the couple exchanging custom wedding bands by Jacob and Co.
The chef for the big occassion tells E! News he prepared quite the feast for the 400 guests.
"We're having vegetarian options in addition to the main course," he says. "There will be stir-fried Asian vegetables, Italian rice, risotto, pasta and a full vegetarian station."
The young couple met in 2007 while on vacation in the Bahamas with their respective families. Kevin popped the question in July with another custom-made sparkler from Jacob and Co.

The Jonas Brothers singer, 21, married his longtime girlfriend Danielle Deleasa Saturday in Long Island, New York, Usmagazine.com has confirmed.
"It was beautiful," a source tells Us.
Look back at 2009's best celebrity weddings.
The singer's ceremony took place at Long Island's Oheka Castle, which also hosted the nuptials of *NSYNC's Joey Fatone and was featured in the Cameron Diaz-Ashton Kutcher flick What Happens in Vegas. The 5pm ceremony was attended by his brothers and bandmates, Nick and Joe, along with the brothers' good pal, Demi Lovato.
How did Kevin propose to the former hairstylist, 22, whom he met on a trip to The Bahamas in 2007.
Who's getting married next?
He surprised her last July by showing up on her New Jersey doorstep with a three-carat solitaire cushion-cut diamond surrounded by 210 round, brilliant-cut pave diamonds. He designed the ring himself, with help from Jacob the Jeweler. "She said yes, yes, yes like 500 times super fast in a row," he said.
The sparkler wasn't the first ring Kevin picked out. In 2008, he told Details he was waiting until marriage to have sex and began wearing a promise ring from Tiffany's in the meantime.
Kevin says he's excited to become a married man, if not only for the home cooked meals!
Hollywood's most romantic couples
"She makes this chicken parm that’s legitimately unbelievable! She makes a good pasta, too. She's a good hometown Italian girl," he told the New York Daily News of his new bride's culinary skills.
Last month, it was announced the brothers' Disney Channel reality series, J. O. N. A. S., had been picked up for a second season.

MYFOXNY.COM - New York City and its suburbs are preparing to get walloped by the snowstorm that has crippled travel and caused power outages across the East Coast.
Stores closed early and driving became treacherous on Saturday as snow began sticking to the roads. There were minor delays at the area's three major airports.
National Weather Service meteorologist Patrick Maloit says that the storm will drop about 8 to 10 inches of snow on the city. A blizzard was expected to hit the Long Island suburbs, with 12 to 18 inches forecast.
Maloit says the area will get hit with the brunt of the storm in the next hour or two as a band of heavy snow moves northward.
