The UFC 108 results from Saturday night's event have now been officially posted. In one huge fight which had drawn much attention, Rashad Evans defeated Thiago Silva via unanimous decision in the main event match. This was Evans' first win since losing his light heavyweight title last May. Evans had taken some time away from the sport, including appearing on the Spike TV reality show as a coach for one of the Ultimate fighting squads. See a full recap of the Evans vs Silva fight here.
In another of the fights, Paul "Semtex" Daley hit a left hand punch to ground his opponent Dustin Hazelett, which eventually gave Daley the Knockout victory. Mark Munoz, Cole Miller and Martin Kampmann were also victorious, as each of these fighters won via submission.
